giveaway winner and tidbits

Summer. The very word sends chills of delight down my spine. Long, lazy days of reading, swimming, sipping lemonade and enjoying life. Planting flowers, getting dirt under my fingernails and in-between my toes; letting my hair blow in the hot summer wind, while I walk barefoot through a golden field--still waiting for the summer rains. The way the goat "butts" the air when a rain drop hits him. Butterflies fluttering around on graceful, gauzy wings, and the bees busy working, gathering pollen.

Summer is beautiful. Summer is a time of relaxation, inspiration and enjoyment. I've been enjoying many things lately. And I've been thankful for these things:

//fresh mint iced tea {yum, yes?}

//sunlight on flowers

//planting our garden {yes, late.}

//drip systems, ohmy

//bare toes

//loose, flowing skirts

//family coming to visit {squeal!}

//tiki torches 

//a few raindrops falling from the sky

//my followers--you guys are awesome

//this station on Pandora 

//a crazy little fat cat

//yogurt, blueberries/strawberries and coconut 

//Jesus's never ending love

//this video--seriously, girl, I love it
//freedom to worship 

//those who gave their lives
